Students spend afternoons after class solving olympiad-style problems with instructors/TAs and other students. Students may work on problems from classes or the weekly problem set.
On some evenings, there will be an optional seminar by a staff or guest speaker on higher math/research topics.
There will be 1-2 practice USA(J)MO style tests, proctored and graded by staff.
Social Activities
Students are encouraged to hang out with other students and staff. Examples of activities our students enjoy include playing board games together, playing sports outdoors, exploring Pittsburgh, and solving math problems together.
